Meet the Team

TJ Chopelas
Founder / CEO

TJ founded National Acts in March of 2013 originally as a way to supplement his income while on the road as a touring musician. In 5 short years, National Acts has grown from a one man operation into a thriving business that manages and coordinates thousands of VIP Meet and Greets for dozens of artists each year across the globe.

In addition to owning National Acts, TJ is currently the singer for the rock band Track Fighter and formerly the singer for the rock band Burn Halo.

Dennis Bodine ("dB")
Developer

dB has been working closely with TJ for a number of years both in and outside of National Acts. With 20+ years of development experience for employers and clients large and small, he has helped to completely redesign the company's website as a custom SOA application to best suit the needs of the business.

In addition to helping out with National Acts, dB handles lead vocals and guitar for the Sacramento rock band Zen Arcadia and was formerly the singer for local metal standouts Phrenik.

John "The Rev" Merry
Client Acquisition

A North Carolina Native, Rev has been a part of the Carolina music scene for over 20 years. At the age of twelve he began running sound in his local church and was was hooked from there. Since then Rev has gone on to become a successful event promoter with his company Nickel & Dime Entertainment and a successful audio engineer with his production company R.K. Entertainment, both based in the Carolinas.

In 2014, Rev began using National Acts to sell tickets to his events and quickly formed a friendship with TJ. As Rev spread the word about National Acts in the Carolinas, he brought a ton of new venue and promoter clients to the business. It only made sense that he officially become part of the National Acts team and we're happy to have him.
